A Durgaparameshwari temple is unimaginable without the presence of Veerabhadra, the deity’s retinue. Sri Mahishamardini, which is situated as the village deity of Ampar, is also have Shri Veerabhadra as most important family deity here. At present, Sri Veerabhadra God is protecting the devotees and fulfilling their desires in this kshetra.

The Lord Veerabhadra here is a wooden idol and has changed from time to time. The present Sri Veerabhadra idol is a beautiful idol newly installed in January 2021. The main attraction of this Veerabhadra, who is crowned with 4 hands, is his blood red color and heroic figure. A special worship called ‘Vadepooja’ to Veerabhadra is the main attraction of the devotees here. Lord Veerabhadra, who is the protector of Sri Kshetra, who fulfills the wishes of the devotees and blesses them with prasad according to their devotion. He is also gloriously served with special homa havans during the nine days of Navratri and Vardhanti Utsav. Along with the ‘Vade Puja’ seva held here, the darshan seva of Sri Veerbhadra is also a major attraction.
